Training

To continue with the permanent training feature, the Institution is dividing the year for training course purposes into two semesters, during which training will be mostly provided on an E-Learning basis. Below you will find information about the contents of the courses as well as costs and registration methods.

 

E-Learning  

1. IRAM Standard Awareness

With the Sponsorship of National Tourism Secretary, it will begging the “ISO Standard Awareness – SECTUR 42910 – Intermediary Touristic Sevices Companies – Quality, security and enviroment Management System” course.

The goal is to train, aware and induct the Travel Agent about de IRAM SECTUR 42910. The targets of the course are Travel Agency’ managers, executives and employees of small and medium companies. Includes AAAVyT no members.

The course is imparted in 4 modules, and under audiovisual dynamics.

The duration is 2 weeks and has no charge for members ( no members $120).

 

2. Sales Techniques for Travel Agents

SEVENTH EDITION – BEGINS ON 9 SEPTEMBER 2010.
FREE FOR MEMBERS WITHOUT DEBT.

With this course, developed and supervised by the Association, AAAVYT seeks to continue advancing steadily towards the application of new information technologies to training and e-learning services.
The purpose of the course is to help the student gain or improve their selling skills in order to enhance company performance.

Since the course is fully given on-line, its main feature is that it is practical. It lasts six weeks and the contents will go from the initial interview to the closing of the sale, including the generation of trust by the seller, the inquiry on particular needs, the handling of objections and techniques that will help improve the sales skills of the travel agent.   

To carry out this undertaking, the AAAVYT has a state-of-the-art education platform, which will provide the student with permanent tutorials during the term of the course, and through which they may contact the teachers via messages, chats and discussion forums. A significant amount of studying materials will be provided for the course through this platform.

   
 

Registration methods applicable to all courses

Those who wish to attend the courses must fully fill out the registration form and send the payment receipt by fax or via e-mail indicating your Name, Company and Associate No., if applicable.

Upon acknowledgement of receipt, you will receive an e-mail containing the User Name and Password to access the course, together with the course guidelines.

Workshops  

In compliance with one of the objectives of the Institution, work meetings are held from time to time to discuss any problems that may arise. These meetings are attended by companies linked to the tourism sector. Those who wish to attend must go to the Regional Associations responsible for the organization of the event. The cost varies according to each branch. Meetings are open to public.
